As some of you know, last Tuesday (May 19th 2026) a link was shared during for action by XR in The Hague. This link was an online AG-form (also known as an arrestee form). Unfortunately through this link everyone could read information that people had written in the forms before. This means: if you filled in an online AG form it’s possible that your personal information and your contact person’s information has been read by others.

Through this statement we would like to warn everyone who filled in an online AG form last Tuesday. Check if your personal details have been removed or remove them yourself. As Arrestantengroep we’ve been warning for situations like these for a while, because although it seems practical to use online AG forms, there are quite some disadvantages to this. Lastly, tonight we saw a call out to sign up online for participating in an action. The same advice goes for this as well as for the online AG forms: don’t do it. You don’t know who’s reading along, you don’t know the organizers personally and something can go wrong with accessing the link. People with bad intentions could also suddenly have access to your personal details.
We hear about things like these more often. We’d like to hear from you when leaks like this happen and how the organizing group responds. If you notice you & your environment don’t know enough about setting up a legal team for an action in a safer way, you can email us as well. We can think along and would love to share our knowledge and experience. We also give workshops on how to prepare for a possible arrest & interrogation by police.
Remember to consider what you tell us over the phone & via email. Make sure there’s no legally sensitive info in your message and don’t mention any names! Preferably use PGP encryption for the emails you send us. Our PGP key can be found on our website.

Gelekte persoonlijke gegevens tijdens actie van XR in Den Haag – Onderneem actie!
Zoals sommigen van jullie weten, is tijdens een actie afgelopen dinsdag (19 mei 2026) een link verspreid voor deelname aan een actie van XR in Den Haag. Die link was naar een online AG-briefje (ook wel arrestee form genoemd). Via de link kon iedereen echter alle informatie lezen die mensen hadden ingevuld. Dat betekent dat als jij zo’n online AG-formulier hebt ingevuld, het mogelijk is dat jouw persoonlijke gegevens en die van jouw contactpersoon gelezen is door anderen.
Via deze weg willen we iedereen waarschuwen die afgelopen dinsdag een online AG-formulier heeft ingevuld. Check of jouw gegevens al zijn verwijderd of verwijder deze zo snel mogelijk zelf! Daarnaast willen we iedereen oproepen om in de toekomst geen online AG-formulieren meer te gebruiken. Vanuit de Arrestantengroep waarschuwen we hier al langer voor, want ondanks dat het praktisch handig kan lijken, kleven er veel nadelen aan. Ten slotte zagen we vanavond dat er een oproep werd gedeeld om je via een online link aan te melden voor deelname aan een actie. Hiervoor geldt wat ons betreft hetzelfde als voor het invullen van online AG-formulieren: doe het niet. Je weet niet wie er mee leest, je kent de organisatoren niet persoonlijk, en bovendien kan er altijd iets mis gaan met de toegang tot de link waardoor ook mensen met kwade bedoelingen opeens toegang kunnen hebben tot jouw persoonsgegevens.
We horen vaker dat dit soort dingen gebeuren. Graag horen we van jullie wanneer dit gebeurt en hoe er door een organiserende groep wordt gereageerd. Mocht je meer informatie hebben over dergelijke situaties, kun je ons ANONIEM mailen op arrestantengroep@riseup.net. Met deze informatie kunnen we gerichter voorlichting geven over actuele risico’s en security culture.
Als je merkt dat er te weinig kennis en kunde is in jouw omgeving om op een veilige manier een arrestantengroep op te zetten, stuur ons dan ook een mail. We denken graag mee, delen onze kennis en ervaring met liefde en geven ook workshops hoe je voor te bereiden op arrestatie.
Denk eraan dat je goed nadenkt over wat je ons telefonisch vertelt of per e-mail stuurt; zorg ervoor dat daar geen juridisch gevoelige informatie tussen zit en noem geen namen! Maak bij voorkeur gebruik van PGP-versleuteling voor de e-mails die je ons stuurt. Onze PGP public key kan je vinden op onze website.
